Chesnok Red Heirloom Garlic Cloves produces large, meaty Red stripe garlic with a rich garlic flavor,a spicy kick and buttery texture. Chesnok holds it shape when cooked.  Like other hard-neck garlic varieties, Chesnok Red performs best in cooler climates and is best planted in the fall. These organic garlic cloves are certified disease-free. The garlic variety grows a single ring of cloves around a stem, typically 8-9 cloves.  Originates from the Republic of Georgia.

• Suggested Planting Depth: Plant  1 inch depth in a slightly raised ridge.
• Suggested Planting Seasons: Fall
• Suggested Final Plant Spacing: 6 inches apart.
• Suggested Planting Configuration: Single Row or Double Wide row block properly mulched to 6 inches deep.
• Maintain a weed-free plant bed in Full sun and with adequate moisture.
